Smart lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus plantarum TENSIA®
Lactobacillus plantarum TENSIA® is a strain of human origin (isolated from the gastrointestinal tract of a healthy Estonian child), science-based testing of safety of which has been carried out in test-tube, on laboratory animals and human adult volunteers.
TENSIA® has been discovered and investigated by the researchers of the Bio-Competence Centre of Healthy Dairy Products LLC (BioCC) in collaboration with researchers from the University of Tartu.
The strain L. plantarum TENSIA® has been deposited in DSMZ (Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen) under registration number DSM 21380 in 2008.
L. plantarum TENSIA® is the property and trademark of the BioCC.
